Three-level course in American English which offers pre-school children a hands-on approach to language learning.
Our Pre-K Course is derived from Fingerprints Books by MacMillan Education that has been designed to appeal to children’s interests and address their all-round development. It features:
It supports and extends the early literacy strand and develops basic number and math skills.
Certificates are awarded after finishing each level. The teacher will provide an assessment pointing out the student’s progress and areas of improvement. Suggestions to keep up with the learning progress is given, too.
Level 1 consists of ten thematic units, providing material for each class. The units present high-interest vocabulary and language structures, which are then recycled in subsequent units. This helps children develop confidence and competence with the language, by building on what they already know.
Similarly, Levels 2 and 3 review and extend the language presented in Level 1.
The first nine units focus on familiar themes and illustrate key vocabulary. The final unit features a fairy tale presented as a simple musical play.
Each unit follows a predictable sequence of lessons:
Unit opener (Lesson 1)
The theme is introduced and new language presented. Vocabulary is reinforced through a unit song.
Conversation (Lesson 2)
Children engage in a dialog using simple social language including greetings, requests, and so on. They are then given opportunities to adapt the dialog by substituting different vocabulary.
Say and do (Lesson 3)
Children practice fine motor skills as they review and extend Lesson 1 language.
Try this! (Lesson 4)
A simple hands-on art, science, math or cookery project recycles unit language and builds cross-curricular skills.
Unit review (Lesson 5)
Children complete a listening check based on key language from the unit.
Each class is a 40-minute lesson.

Hub English Online Class adapts a six-level primary course from Hip Hip Hooray Books by Pearson Longman Education. It features:
Certificates are awarded after finishing each level. The teacher will provide an assessment pointing out the student’s progress and areas of improvement. Suggestions to keep up with the learning progress is given, too.
The course presents over 1,000 target vocabulary items and 144 target language structures through a four skills step-by-step sequence of presentation, practice and production.
Students learn language through engaging stories, songs, chants, and a variety of practice activities.
Each level is split into eight units with a review after every two units. Each unit contains three presentations of target vocabulary and language structures that are recycled throughout course.
There are 32-36 lessons per level, 3-4 lessons per unit depending on the individual student’s progress.
Each unit follows a predictable sequence of lessons:
First story episode
The first target language structure of the unit is presented by the characters in the story. Students will find the story engaging and motivating and see the target structure modeled in context.
Song / Chant
A fun song/chant and accompanying listening tasks reinforce the language of Learn 1. Students will practice new language in a fun and rhythmic way and improve fluency through producing language rapidly without pauses.
Learn 1, 2 and 3
Three language presentation sections in each unit introduce students to new target vocabulary and structures through clear images, real-world modeling and formal grammar tables.
Students will be introduced to new language in a clear and understandable way and be able to substitute vocabulary into newly-acquired language structures.
Practice
Each learn section is supported by practice activities. These activities provide reinforcement of target language through a combination of listening, reading and writing.
Students will apply newly learned language through meaningful practice and develop listening, reading and writing skills.
Second Story Episode
The second story episode in each unit consolidates the target language from the Learn sections in the unit. Prompts are provided to enable students to talk about the story scenes using both target and recycled language.
Students will see how the new language they have learned is used in conversation and practice language through role-play.
Test
Each unit contains a listening and reading-based test to formally assess student progress.
Student will be able to see their progress and understand their strengths and weaknesses.
Have fun!
Each unit ends with an informal progress check in the form of a speaking activity that reviews target language.
Students will be able to practice language in a fun and supportive format and be motivated by competitive activities
Review
A review section after every two units provides extensive listening and speaking practice of target language learned in the preceding two units and recycled language from earlier units.
